Organizational Biography

Established since 2003, Mission of Hope (MoH) is a not-for-profit, community organization with a focus on health and community development. Mission of Hope was founded to establish a culturally, religiously and trauma informed service to the Muslim and other Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities in Sydney.

Mission of Hope prides itself on delivering professional, effective and quality health and well-being services along with community development programs to the Muslim and culturally diverse communities.

Our aim is to inspire greater health and well-being services to the Muslim community by connecting them through awareness, education and health and well-being programs.

Areas of Strength/Expertise

Our work has focused on drug intervention services, street outreach, professional counselling (for individuals and families) and mental health awareness support, as well as other programs delivered through the support of our community.

We have had a collaborative attitude to our work since day one. Our “17 Years” fundraising campaign has been supported by some of the most active, compassionate and committed Muslim leaders in the Muslim community, both across our service areas and beyond!
